From its earliest beginnings to modern day, life on Iceland has always been connected to the sea. We choose to highlight this heritage by combining native seaweeds, hand-harvested from our local sea shores, with our flaky sea salt to create an umami-rich salt that we absolutely love.
πππ¬ππ’π§π ππ¨πππ¬: This salt truly smells of the clean, fresh sea shore, and tastes of bright saline minerality mixed with rich earthiness. Using two different types of seaweed weβre able to create umami notes that bring a deep depth of flavor to the dishes you choose to cook. All of our salts are crunchy, mineral-rich sea salts - the higher mineral content, and flaky structure give each of them a rich flavor.
